So what are the expectations from the new iPhone – whatever it is to be called?

  • Based on reports of most analysts the next generation smartphone is expected to feature a design quite similar to last year’s device, but with some modifications. The tech giant will retain a 4.7-inch diagonal screen for the regular model and 5.5 inches for the Plus model. The refreshed versions may be slightly thicker.
  • Apple broadened its traditional black-and-white palette a few years ago by adding gold, silver, and “space gray.” As per the gossip grist, the next-generation iPhone is likely to include new color option, a “Rose Gold” which is a coppery hue.
  • No drastic innovations are expected from the next iPhone, though it may be equipped with a faster processor, an improved camera and new software features.
  • Rumors indicate, the new gadgets will support an upgraded 12 megapixels rear snapper capable of 4K video recording and the addition of a flash for the front-facing camera.
  • The distinctive feature anticipated in the new handsets is a “Force Touch” display that debuted on the Apple Watch. Users can press down hard on the screen to access extra menu settings and controls.
  • Given that the new iPhones hit US markets a week or 10 days so after they’re unveiled, Apple fans can grab the latest handset on September 18.

Remember all this is sheer conjecture as there is no official word from Apple as of now! Let’s wait and see what the Tech giant pulls out from its bag on Sept.9 2015!
