UGC NET (Dec 2015) Registration Opens! Apply Now!
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened registration for the University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) December 2015.
CBSE conducts NET twice a year on behalf of University Grant Commission at various centres across the country to select candidates for the role of Assistant Professor/Lecturer and for Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) in Indian Universities and Colleges.
The UGC NET is divided into three Papers: The first paper tests the teaching and researching abilities of the candidate. With total 100 marks Paper I has 50 questions out of 60 are to be attempted.
The second paper is based on the individual chosen subject and is of total 100 marks with 50 questions and all are compulsory.
The third and last paper is again based on the individual subject but goes more into the depth of the subject. It has a total 150 marks with 75 questions which are all compulsory.
Online application process for the CBSE NET has begun from 1st October 2015. Interested & eligible candidates may apply in the prescribed format online before 1st November 25, 2015 through a link available at official website which is http://cbsenet.nic.in/. Exam will be held on 27th December 2015 (Sunday).
