Indian Navy/ Nausena has issued a recruitment notification inviting applications from unmarried males to enrolment as sailors for its Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) for its 02/2016 batch. The course is commencing from August 2016.

Candidates should note that manual application or those dispatched via speed post, Registered post, courier etc. will be accepted.
Age Limit: (17-21 years)
Candidates to be born between 01 August 1995 to 31 July 31, 1999 (both dates inclusive).
Educational Qualification Required:
Aspirants should be 10+2/ equivalent pass outs with Math &Physics and at least one of these subjects (Chemistry/Biology/Computer science) from any recognized Board in India.
Selection Criteria:
Selection of recruits is on the basis of merit as per their performance in Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in the Medical Examinations. The PFT consist of 1.6 K.M. run to be completed in seven minutes, 20 Uthak Bathak and 10 Push Ups.
