Great news for candidates desiring government teaching Job in UP after completing B.Ed. / BTC. The Basic Education council of Uttar Pradesh has announced the schedule for the much awaited UP TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) 2015.
As per the official notification, the exam is scheduled to be held on February 02 2016 at various districts across the state.
Interested and eligible candidates need to apply for UPTET 2015 via the online mode at the official website www.upbasiceduboard.gov.in from 26 November to 16 December 2015.
Eligibility criteria
UPTET is a mandatory qualification for aspirants to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII in any of the government schools in Uttar Pradesh.
Applicants wanting to become teachers of Junior Level (VI to VIII) should have graduated and passed with D.Ed. having minimum 45% marks or appearing in B.Ed. with 50% marks or have a four-year special education diploma with 50% marks from a recognized college / institute.
Candidates wanting to become Primary Level teachers for classes (I to V) should be armed with BTC, D.Ed. NTT, 2 years BTC Urdu, graduate degree or minimum bachelor degree of elementary education from any approved university / institute.
There shall be two papers in the examination. Applicants wanting to become teachers for (I to V) have to appear for Paper I while those wishing to teach classes VI to VIII will have to appear for Paper-II.
Application Process:
Candidates can register online on the official website of UP Education Council upbasiceduboard.gov.in by paying an application fee.
General/OBC candidates have to pay Rs.400. For reserved category (SC/ST candidates) the fees is Rs.200.
Fees can be paid online using debit or credit card and offline via challan to be deposited with State Bank of India.
Important Dates:
Application begins: 26 November 2015.
Last date for online form submission: 16 December 2015 up to 6 PM.
Last date to submit fees through E-challan or card: 17 December 2015.
Last date to complete forms: 18 December 2015.
Corrections: 21 to 24 December 2015 up to 6 PM only.
Exam date: 02 January 2016.
