Indian Air Force (IAF) has announced the result for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2016. The AFCAT Result 2016 has been uploaded online and can be accessed by visiting the official IAF website which is www.careerairforce.nic.in

IAF recruits eligible and physically fit candidates for filing up Commissioned Officer vacancies in Flying, Technical and Ground Duty Branches through AFCAT. Registration for the Feb AFCAT 2016 began on 5 December ended on 31 December 2015.

IAF successfully organised the AFCAT on 21 February 2016. Aspirant desiring a career in the Indian Air Force took the exam in large numbers. They are now waiting for their verdict. The wait is over! The latest news is that IAF has announced the AFCAT 2016 result.

Procedure to download AFCAT Result 2016:

Visit the Official site of Indian Air force at careerairforce.nic.in.

Search for the link “AFCAT result 2016” and click on it.

Next enter required details like email ID, username or password.

“February-2016” must be selected in notification field

Next punch in the security code to proceed

Hit the submit button to generate result

The result will be displayed on the computer screen.

Check your qualifying status and take a print out for future use.

Aspirants will be shortlisted based on the performance in the written exams & Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) for candidates of the Technical Branch only. The written exam will be followed by an Intelligence Test, Psychological Test, Group Test, Medical conducted by Air Force Selection Boards (AFSBs). Candidates applying for Flying Branch must appear for Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT).

Candidates who have cracked the written exam are required to choose the venue and date for further tests to be conducted by the AFSB. The last date for date and venue selection is April 12. The candidates need to report to the venue with their call-up letter, AFCAT admit card and any other documents listed in the call-up letter.
