An important update for all the aspirants who have registered for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2016. The SSC CGL Tier1 exam 2016 has been postponed. An official notification pertaining to the postponement has been issued on the Commission’s main web portal which is http://ssc.nic.in/
SSC CGL exam contains three stages in total (Tier I, Tier II and Tier III). Candidates who appear for the SSC CGL Tier I exam and are successful are called for Tier II examination. SSC CGL Tier III is the final stage which involves (personality test/Interview/computer proficiency test/skill test/ doc verification) after which candidates proceed towards the final selection of the post.
The Staff Selection Commission had earlier notified the exam dates for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Exam Tier 1 and Tier 2. According to the schedule, the CGL Tier 1 was slated to take place on May 8 and May 22, 2016. Whereas, the CGL Exam Tier 2 was scheduled for August 13 and August 14, 2016.
As per the latest update, the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam has been pushed back. The exam will now be held in August 2016. Speculation is rife that the SSC CGL Tier one can be held on 07, 14, 21 or 28 August 2016. The exact dates for SSC CGL 2016 Tier 1 exams will be officially announced shortly.
