Arvind Kejriwal to pay a 2-day visit to Punjab, starting tomorrow
Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi will travel to Punjab on Thursday for a two day tour, where he will meet farmers and businesspeople.
The Aam Aadmi Party(AAP), Punjab’s largest opposition party, is planning to run for all 117 assembly seats in the state’s elections next year, hoping to win and establish a government.
Kejriwal is expected to meet farmers in Mansa on the first day of his tour and “have a discourse” with them. Raghav Chadha, who is co-in charge of the AAP’s political affairs in Punjab, stated on Wednesday.
On Friday, Kejriwal will travel to Bhatinda to meet with business leaders, he said.
This is the second time in this month when Kejriwal is travelling to Punjab, ahead of the state assembly elections scheduled for early next year.
