It’s time for Microsoft to celebrate! The new generation operating system of Window 10 released about a month ago has reached out to almost 75 million devices. Yusuf Mehdi, Microsoft’s vice president of marketing of the corporate division , tweeted in a number of tweets that more than 90,000 different tablets and computers are powered by Windows 10. His exuberant comment read “More than 75 million devices now run the software, with the number “growing every day.”
Microsoft released the OS on July 29th and observed that it showed an “overwhelming positive” debut as almost 14 million people opted out for t
he new generation Windows 10 Operating System , within 24 hours of its release. The best thing is that this can work for tablets, smart phones and the traditional computers. The Windows 10 may give Microsoft the strong push it desires in the mobile sector and almost 192 countries are promised to benefit by this action of Microsoft.
It’s a known fact that Apple iOS, and Google Android were marching way ahead of Microsoft in the mobile fields and Windows 8 was not accepted very well by the audiences. The US software colossus is offering Microsoft windows 10 as a free upgrade and promises to cover billions of devices soon.
Jay Chou, a senior research analyst from IDC has commented “Although the shortcomings of the PC business are obvious, a silver lining is that the industry has continued to refine the more mobile aspects of personal computers – contributing to higher growth in Convertible and Ultraslim Notebooks. The de-emphasis of touch on Windows 10 also paves the way for a more familiar experience and continuing unit growth on large-screen systems, particularly All-in-One PCs.”
The PC business is expected to fall for a while according to the forecast of the International Data Corporation but the Ultra slim notebooks are a thing to watch out for!
