Meizu MX5 launched in India at Rs 19,999
Here comes another entrant into the Indian mobile market! Chinese phone maker, Meizu unveiled mid-range device MX5 at an event in New Delhi on Wednesday, 26 August 2015.
With a price tag of Rs 19,999 the Meizu MX5 (16GB inbuilt storage variant) has gone on sale exclusively via Snapdeal. The 32 and 64GB versions of will be rolled out at a later date.

Specs of Meizu MX5:
Meizu’s flagship phone flaunts a metal body in a matte grey finish with two chrome lines on the top and lower portions. With just 7.6mm thickness and 149 gms weight, the MX5 is pretty light despite a metal build.
Meizu MX5 has a 5.5-inch full HD Super AMOLED display with 1920×1080 pixels (401 ppi pixel density). The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and is powered by a MediaTek Helio X10 Turbo processor. MX5 comes with Power VR G6200 for enhancing graphics and is paired with 3GB of RAM.
Other Features:
The camera specs of Meizu MX5 are impressive. The device has a 20.7 MP rear camera with a 6-element lens capable of shooting 4K videos at 30fps. The 5 MP front snapper can shoot fullHD videos at 30fps.
It packs a 3,150mAh non removable Li-ion battery and supports quick-charging feature which lets you juice the phone from 0 to 25 percent in 10 mins flat, as per company claims.
MX5 is equipped with dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS and sensors such as the gyro, accelerometer and proximity sensor.

In the mid-range segment, MX5 faces tough completion from Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML (4 GB RAM), priced at Rs 19,999, Xiaomi Mi4 64 GB version (Rs 19,999) and OnePlus One (Rs 18,990 for 16 GB version and Rs 21,990 for 64 GB version).
