UPSC IAS (Prelims) Result 2015 Expected on 13th October
Aspirants who have the taken the prestigious Civil Services IAS Prelim exam 2015 and are waiting for their verdict, the agonizing period of anxiety will soon be over! The Civil Services Prelims 2015 Exam, was held on23 August 2015by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
UPSC normally takes two-and-half/three months to declare the results of prelims which means that results will be out sometime next month.
Though, the UPSC authorities have not announced the exact date for publishing the results, students can expect their prelims result by mid-October. Buzz has it the prelims is expected by 13th October 2015.
Once declared, the IAS Preliminary Exam Result 2015 will be available online onwww.upsc.gov.in. Candidates need to keep an eye on the official website regularly for latest updates on results.
UPSC conducted the prelims on August 23 in several cities across the country. As per sources, more than 4.6 lakh candidates appeared for both the papers (Paper-1 & Paper-2) which was held in morning and after-noon sessions.
The Civil Services Exam is conducted by the UPSC for recruitment of graduates from all fields to the Civil Services covering twenty five different services under the Government of India. There are three stages in this exam. Candidates who clear the Preliminary Exam will be allowed to appear for the Main Exam followed by a personality test or Interview. The UPSC main exam is likely to be held on December 18 2015.
