The wait is finally over! Result of the Civil Services Prelims Exam 2015 conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on 23 August has been announced.
The Civil Services Exam & Indian Forest Service (Preliminary) Examination result has been declared on 12 October 2015 evening at the official website-www.upsc.gov.in.
The IAS & IFS Prelims Result 2015 is available online in PDF format. Candidates who have participated in the prestigious exam can check their qualifying status in the Prelims 2015 by accessing the UPSC main portal.
As per a statement issued by the Commission, all the qualified candidates are advised to fill up the Detailed Application Form online for civil services (main) examination, to be held from December 18, 2015.
UPSC conducted the prelims on August 23 in 71 cities across the country. As per sources, more than 4.6 lakh candidates appeared for both the papers (Paper-1 & Paper-2) which was held in morning and after-noon sessions.

On the home page an option of written Result CS (P) 2015 & IFS (P) 2015 will appear at the right side.

The Civil Services Exam is conducted by the UPSC for recruitment of graduates from all fields to the Civil Services covering 25 different services under the Government of India. There are three stages in this exam. Candidates who clear the Preliminary Exam will be allowed to appear for the Main Exam followed by a personality test or Interview.
