Finally! The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Board (UPPRB) has declared the names of candidates shortlisted for Sub Inspector (SI) & Platoon Commander training following the exam that was held on 14th September 2014.

The list of candidates selected for the training of SI & Platoon Commander posts is now available online. The board has uploaded the list in PDF format with details like roll no, name, rank, training center etc. on its official website at (https://uppolice.gov.in).

The selection criteria for Sub Inspector (Ranker up-nirikshak) comprises of four stages (Pre exam, Physical Test, Mains Written Exam & Group Discussion (GD)). UPPRB successfully completed the final step (GD) in December 2014.
Since there is no Interview for this post, the board released the UP Police Sub Inspector Final Result with new cut-off/ merit list on the main web portal on 25 June 2015.
All those who have successfully cracked the 4 stages of recruitment and are selected for the SI & Platoon Commander post will go through the UP police training. The date for commencement of the training will be released shortly. Buzz has it the training schedule is likely to begin in early November 2015.
Based on their performance during their Training Period, candidates will be offered joining letters.
