Good news for aspiring teachers who wished to apply for the Punjab State TET (PSTET) 2015 but missed the last date (November 23, 2015) for online registration! The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has extended the online registration date for another two days.
Candidates who wish to participate in the PSTET can apply online via the authorized website www.pstet.org.in for the exam till 25 November 2015 by 5.00 PM after which the online registration link will be disabled.
Last date to accept fee through bank challan has also been extended from 25/11/2015 to 27/11/2015 till (banking transaction time).
According to PSEB Chairperson Dr Tejinder Kaur Dhaliwal the extension has been given due to the overwhelming response received by aspirants. As per sources, over 1.60 lakh candidates have registered for PSTET 2015.
PSTET Exam 2015 that is being conducted by PSEB for the first time to recruit teachers from Class I-VIII. The exam was earlier conducted by the education board. As per the official notification, the exam is scheduled to be held on 13 December 2015 at various centers across the state.
Candidates wanting to become teachers for classes I to V will have to appear for Paper I while those wishing to teach classes VI to VIII will have to appear for Paper II. Aspirants wishing to teach both the levels for primary stage (classes I to V) & elementary stage (VI to VIII) have to appear for both the papers.
The exam paper will have 150 objective type, multiple choice questions. For every correct answer, the candidates will get one mark. Negative marking is not applicable for wrong answers.

Last date for online form submission: 25 November 2015 up to 5:00 pm.2015.
Last date to submit fees through E-challan or card: 27 November 2015
Exam date: 13 December 2015 (Paper-I: 11:00 am to 12:30 pm & Paper-II: 3:00 am to 04:30 pm)
Admit Cards will be available from: 6 December 2015.
