Good news for individuals waiting to join the Central Police Organization (CPO). The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released an employment notification inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruiting Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police (DP) & Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assistant Sub-Inspectors in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).

Eligible candidates can apply for SSC SI ASI Delhi Police posts at the authorized website which is ssc.nic.in. Online submission process begins from January 09, 2016 and ends on 05 February 2016.
Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit:
- Aspirants applying for this post of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police & CAPFs and Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF should be between 20-25 years. Age relaxation for Ex-Service men, SC/ST/OBC etc. applicable as per rules.
Educational Qualification:
- To be eligible for this recruitment drive applicants must possess a graduation degree from any reputed and recognized University.
Selection Procedure:
- Selection of the candidates for the above posts is on the basis of their performances in 4-stages which are (1) written examination (Paper I and Paper II), (2) Physical Efficiency Test. There is no interview for these posts.
Application Fee:
- Aspirants belonging to general category have to pay Rs.100/- as application fee. SC/ST and women candidates are exempted from application charges.
Pay Scale:
- Sub-Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police: Rs.9300-34800 in Pay Band 2 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200 (classified as Group ‘C’ by Delhi Police).
- Sub-Inspector in CAPFs (Central Armed Police Forces): Rs.9300-34800 in Pay Band 2 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200 (classified as Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial).
- Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF: Rs.5200-20200 in PB-2 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2800/- (classified as Group ‘C’)
