Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the Test Admit Card / Hall Ticket for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) scheduled to be held on 21 February 2016 (Sunday).

The Board has uploaded the Admit Card for the upcoming CTET- Feb 2016 exam on the official website www.ctet.nic.in Candidates who have applied for the CTET-Feb 2016 exam can download their Admit Card / Hall Ticket from 25 Jan. 16 on-wards. Candidates must remember, the crucial document will not be sent via post or courier.

Procedure to download CTET- Feb Admit card 2016:

Visit the official website of CTET that is ctet.nic.in

Navigate to the recruitment section

Click on the link “CTET Admit Card/Hall Ticket Download”

Enter details like your registration number and date of birth

Submit the entered data

Your admit card will be displayed on the computer screen

It is imperative that candidates check details like the exam venue, roll number, photo, time of test etc and take a print of it. If any discrepancy in the particulars or photograph and signatures shown in the admit card is perceived they should contact CTET unit to rectify the same along with confirmation page latest by 10 February 2016. No request for any changes will be entertained after the specified date.

CTET Exam (Duration 2 hours 30 Minutes) is scheduled to be held on February 21, 2016 in two shifts at various centers across the nation. It will be the ninth edition of the CTET organized by CBSE.  Candidates desiring to teach classes I to V will have to appear for Paper I while those wishing to become teachers of classes VI to VIII will have to appear for Paper II.

The exam paper will have objective type, multiple choice questions. For every correct answer, the candidates will get one mark. Negative marking is not applicable for any wrong answer.

CTET is a mandatory qualification for an individual to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in any of the schools. This exam is conducted twice in a year, once in September and once in February. Once qualified, the teacher receives a CTET certificate which remains valid for seven years.
