CBSE Class 12 Exams postponed in West Bengal & Assam

12_optThe Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) that is in the midst of conducting the Class 10 & 12 board exams has rescheduled a couple of Class XII board exam papers in West Bengal and Assam as they coincide with the assembly elections.

The Board has issued an official notification pertaining to the new schedule. As per the new time table the CBSE Class 12 Sociology exam will be held on April 23 instead of April 4 as it clashed with the first phase of the elections

Also, the Sanskrit (core) and Bengali exams that were to be conducted on April 11 have now been pushed to April 26.

Students hailing from the two states are advised to check the exam dates and prepare for the exams accordingly.

Assam will have a two-phase election on April 4 and 11 while West Bengal will see balloting on seven dates: April 4, 11, 17, 21, 25 and 30 and May 5.
