Awestruck and excited we watch the screen to view the recently released official trailer of the biopic made on the life of the cricketer, M.S.Dhoni, called “MS Dhoni: The Untold Story”. The cricket hero’s role is being sashayed by the talented Sushant Singh Rajput and the story is all about Dhoni’s struggle to become one of the biggest and most respected Cricket super stars.
Our ears ring with Dhoni’s conversation with his supervisor at his first day of duty, and the way he hesitatingly responds to the instructions regarding the platform and trains expected on the station. The scene becomes even more gripping as we hear loud chants of “Dhoni Dhoni Dhoni” and a sullen looking, long haired Dhoni sitting on a platform bench.
The director has managed to grab the attention of the audience with the typical Dhoni look and the voice of the commentator call out “India lift the World Cup after 20 years. And it’s an Indian captain who has been absolutely magnificent in the night of the final.” Lives of the celebrities, whether it is an actor or a sportsperson has always mesmerized the audiences. Remember Milkha Singh, Mary Kom? Will Dhoni manage to keep the people sitting tight in their seats?
