The results for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2016 had been declared by Indian Institute of Sciences. The GATE 2016 is now available online and can be accessed from the official portal.
Students who have participated in the prestigious entrance exam can check their qualifying status by login onto the authorized website which is gate.iisc.ernet.in
The aim of the all India Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is to assess the comprehensive understanding of candidates in various undergraduate subjects of engineering and science. GATE is conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, Department of Higher Education & Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) of the government of India.
Aspirants desiring to pursue their PG in engineering took the GATE 2016 on January 31, February 1, 7th, 8th and February 14. The latest news is that the GATE 2016 result has been announced.
Tips to Check GATE 2016 Results:
- Visit the official website
- Search for the link displaying ‘GATE Score card’ and click on it
- Punch in your Hall Ticket number and other details as directed
- Submit the entered data
- Your score card will be displayed on the screen
- Download your score card and take a hardcopy for future
