The media has been going crazy digging deep into the speculated reasons for the death of TV actress “Balika Vadhu” Pratyusha Banerjee but the latest statement by the authorities are stating that Prayusha ended her life by hanging herself under the influence of liquor.
A month ago, on April 1st, people had been shocked when they had heard about the suicide of their favorite petite actress, the 24-year old Pratyusha Banerjee. Pratyusha had been found hanging from the ceiling fan in her flat in suburban Goregaon, Mumbai and a spat with her boyfriend “fiance” Rahul Raj Singh was said to be the reason to drive her crazy and put a brutal end to her life.
Reports stated that Pratyusha had presumably discovered her beau having a clandestine relationship with his ex-girlfriend, and she couldn’t take the pain. Further gory reports stated that just a little while before her suicide, she had undergone an abortion that had left her devastated. Rahul Raj Singh was charged with the crime of abetment to suicide, and Pratyusha’s family blamed him for her death as they felt Pratyusha could never take such a step on her own. Her parents registered various cases under Sections 306 (abetment of suicide), 504, 506 (criminal intimidation), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) of the IPC, against Pratyusha’s “fiance” Rahul Raj Singh on April 3.
The final medical report has been revealed and the results are stating that Pratyusha Banerjee was under the influence of alcohol when she took the terrible step of hanging herself. Nearly, 135 mg traces of alcohol have been discovered in her blood and this limit is much more than the average alcohol limit permissible. It is possible that Pratyusha was not in control of her senses when she hung herself, say the reports, is this the end to the story?
