Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) conducts the MBBS BDS entrance exam in two stages (preliminary and mains) for admission to around 180 medical seats. Out of the total, 145 are MBBS seats in Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and 35 BDS seats in Dr. Ziauddin Ahmad Dental College.
The University successfully held Stage 1 of the national level entrance exam for admissions into MBBS & BDS courses for the academic year 2016 on 10th April 2016. Candidates who will qualify the stage 1 will be eligible for AMU MBBS 2016 stage 2 exam which is scheduled to be conducted on June 1.
The 3-hour stage 1 question paper (200 marks) comprised of total a total of 200 questions from Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology subjects. Nearly 60 thousand candidates have registered for the AMU MBBS entrance exam 2016.
