UPSC CDS Exam (1) Result 2016 Declared! Check Here!
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released result for its Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2016 on 03 May.
The UPSC CDS I Result 2016 is now available online and can be accessed at the Commission’s authorized web portal.
Candidates who have taken the UPSC CDS-1 exam 2016 can download their result and check their qualifying status from the official website which is www.upsc.gov.in
CDS Exam or is conducted twice every year by UPSC for recruitment of candidates into the Indian Military Academy, officers Training Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air Force Academy.
The selection procedure comprises written examination, interview/intelligence test/personality test, document verification, and medical examination. Candidates qualifying the written test will have to appear for the interview and the group discussion.
The Commission successfully held the CDS Exam-1 on 14.02.2016 (SUNDAY). The latest news is that the result for the same has been released and can be downloaded by the following procedure.
Steps to check Result for Combined Defence Services Exam (I) 2016
• Log on to the official website of the commission www.upsc.gov.in.
• Click on the link ‘Result Combined Defence Services Exam. (I), 2016’ appearing on the right panel of the screen under the heading ‘What’s New’.
• A file containing a total of 8411 names will appear on the screen.
• Candidates can search for their Roll number to check their qualifying status in the Combined Defence Services Exam (I) 2016.
