A wonderful chance for men desiring a career in the Indian Navy! A recruitment notification has been issued by the Indian Navy/ Nausena inviting applications from unmarried males for enrolment as sailors for its Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) for its 01/2017 batch. The course is commencing from February 2017.

Age Limit: (17-21 years)
Candidates should be born between 01 Feb 1996 and 31 Jan 2000 (Both dates inclusive).
Educational Qualification Required:
Aspirants should be 10+2/ equivalent pass outs with Math &Physics and at least one of these subjects (Chemistry/Biology/Computer science) from any recognized Board in India.
Selection Criteria:
Selection of recruits is on the basis of merit as per their performance in Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in the Medical Examinations. The PFT consist of 1.6 K.M. run to be completed in seven minutes, 20 Uthak Bathak and 10 Push Ups.
