The D-day is finally here! The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER), Puducherry has released the MBBS entrance exam result 2016 today (13th June).
Candidates who have participated in the exam can check their qualifying status by visiting the authorized website which is www.jipmer.edu.in
JIPMER is a prestigious exam conducted for admitting aspiring doctors in the 200 seats of the MBBS program, (150 in Institute’s Puducherry campus & 50 in Karaikal campus). The MBBS course in Karaikal campus has started from this year.
This year the entrance exam was successfully organised on 5th June at 275 test centres in 75 cities across the nation.
The two & half hour question paper (200 questions/200 marks) consisted of 60 questions from Physics, 60 from Chemistry, 60 from Biology, 10 from English comprehension and 10 from Logic & Quantitative reasoning. Negative marking is not applicable.
The latest update is that process of checking the answer sheets is complete and the JIPMER 2016 result has been uploaded on the official web portal today. Students who have taken the JIPMER MBBS 2016 can check their qualifying status/merit list/ marks/ score card from official website @www.jipmer.edu.in.

Click on the link MBBS result
Enter your roll number and password
The result will be displayed
Check and take a printout
Candidates may face some trouble while loading the website due to heavy traffic. They are advised to be patient and reload the page to access the result link.
The institute will hold the counselling sessions for the successful candidates on three days (June 20, 21 and 22nd). The academic session is expected to begin from 1st of July.
