Some heartening news for the 1.5 lakh students who are waiting on edge for their JIPMER MBBS 2016 verdict! The JIPMER MBBS 2016 result was scheduled for 13 June, but due to some unforeseen issues, the result has been delayed.
As per the latest update, the JIPMER MBBS 2016 result is now likely to be announced on June 17.
JIPMER notification states: “Results of JIPMER MBBS Entrance Examination (July 2016) is expected for notification around 17th June 2016.”
The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER), Puducherry successfully organised the MBBS entrance exam 2016 on 5th June at 275 test centres in 75 cities across the nation.
The prestigious exam is conducted for admitting aspiring doctors in the 200 seats of the MBBS program, (150 in Institute’s Puducherry campus & 50 in Karaikal campus). The MBBS course in Karaikal campus has started from this year.
The two & half hour question paper (200 questions/200 marks) consisted of 60 questions from Physics, 60 from Chemistry, 60 from Biology, 10 from English comprehension and 10 from Logic & Quantitative reasoning. Negative marking is not applicable.
JIPMER MBBS result 2016 was expected on 13th June. In fact, online sources stated that it was declared, but apparently students were unable to access the result because the site crashed.
The JIPMER MBBS 2016 result is now expected in another 3 to 4 days (after 17 June). Students who have participated in the entrance exam can check their qualifying status/merit list/ marks/ score card from official website @ www.jipmer.edu.in after the results are declared.
The institute will hold the counselling sessions for the successful candidates on three days (June 20, 21 and 22nd). The academic session is expected to begin from 1st of July.
