JoSAA is all set to release the second round of seat allotment result for JEE Main and JEE advanced candidates in a few hours!
The JoSAA 2nd round allotment 2016 for IITs, NITs admissions will be will be published today (6 July) in the evening at 5 PM.
Candidates can check the JoSAA seat allotment at josaa.nic.in or jeemain.nic.in after the list is uploaded online.
The seat acceptance for the second round will be carried out on July 7th, 8th and 9th.
Candidates seeking admission have to pay seat acceptance fee (by E-challan or net banking of SBI) and report at the listed reporting centres with required documents from 7-9th July (10 am to 5 pm).
Aspirants must remember that only 72 seats are available in the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) for the second round of counselling. Candidates should note that the engineering IIT and NIT aspirants who had opted for ‘float’ or ‘slide’, the new option will also be allocated in this round.
JoSAA, empowered by HRD Ministry for admitting students in engineering courses is conducting the counselling for a total 34,871 seats in at 92 institutes that include 22 IITs, ISM, 31 NITs, 20 IIITs and 18 other government funded technical institutes.
The future of nearly 13 lakh students who took JEE Mains and JEE Advanced this year depends on the seat allocation by JoSAA.
