State Bank of India (SBI) is expected to announce the Main exam result for recruitment to Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) and Junior Agricultural Associates in Clerical Cadre very soon.
The internet is bustling with rumors that the Bank is gearing up to release the SBI Main exam JA, JAA result in this week.
Not surprising really, since the grapevine has been abuzz for days about the final date of the result announcement for the SBI Clerk Mains! It was initially 23rd July and till recently 26 & 27 July.
After going back & forth there is still no clarity on the subject. As per credible sources, SBI is likely to declare the result in a couple of days.
SBI had issued a recruitment notification for 17140 Junior Associate (JA) and Junior Agriculture Associate (JAA) in clerical cadre posts.
Interested and eligible candidates applied in large numbers the same from 05-04-2016 to 25-04-2016 via the Bank’s official website.
Selection for above posts is on the basis of a preliminary exam, main test and personal interview. SBI successfully held the Pre exam from 22nd May to 5th June 2016 and declared the result of the same on 17 June.
Based on the SBI Clerk 2016 prelims result, around 60 K shortlisted candidates participated in the main exam on June 25 and June 26, 2016. They are now anxiously awaiting their verdict.
The latest news is that the SBI JA & JAA Main exam result will be declared in the coming two days.
Aspirants who have participated in the Main exam can check their qualifying status on the authorised web portal which is www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in after it is declared.
Candidates who crack the Mains will be called for personal interview and those who qualify in the PI round will clinch appointment letters for the JA & JAA posts under this recruitment.
The final merit list will be based on the candidate’s marks in mains exam and interview round.
