Candidates who are waiting anxiously for their verdict in the SBI PO Main exam 2016 need to be patient for another four days!
State Bank of India (SBI) is going to announce the main exam result for recruitment to Probationary Officers (PO) posts on 20th August.
There was a strong buzz that the Bank is gearing up to release the SBI Main PO exam result on 16th August but apparently it has been delayed. The bank has officially declared the result will be out on the 20th of this month.
SBI is in the process of recruiting 2428 PO posts for the year 2016. A large number of candidates have applied for this recruitment drive.
The Exam will be held in three phases. The Prelims followed by the Main Exam (phase 2) and GD/PI (phase 3). The final selection will be on the basis of performance in phase 2 & 3. Pre exam is qualifying in nature and its marks will not be included in the final merit list.
SBI successfully held the Prelims PO exam on 02,03,09,10 July 2016 and the result subsequently announced last month. Candidates who successfully cleared the SBI PO Pre Exam took the Mains on 31st July, 2016.
The latest news is that the SBI PO Mains result 2016 is likely to be declared on 20th August.
Aspirants who have participated in the same can check their qualifying status on the authorised web portal which is www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in after it is declared.
