Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued the E-Admit cards for the Civil Services (CS) Main Examination 2016 on 9th November.
Candidates who had taken the CS (Preliminary) exam earlier this and cracked the same can download the crucial document from UPSC’s official website which is //www.upsc.gov.in/
The main exam will be held from December 3 to December 9, 2016. The admit card will be available for download till December 9, 2016.
Procedure to Download e-Admit Card 2016:
• Log on to the UPSC’s official website at http://www.upsc.gov.in/
• Click the link, titled “e-Admit Card- Civil Service (Main) Examination, 2016”
• A page with Important Instructions pertaining to the exam and the e-Admit Card will appear on screen
• Click on Yes button.
• Next punch in either name, registration no. or your roll number and enter the details, as instructed
• Submit the details and UPSC Civil Service (Main) Exam 2016 admit card will appear on the screen
• Save your admit card and take a printout of it for the upcoming exam.

The Civil Services Exam is conducted by the UPSC for recruitment of graduates from all fields to the Civil Services covering 25 different services under the Government of India. There are three stages in this exam. These include the Preliminary Exam, Main Exam followed by a personality test or Interview.
Candidates who qualified in the prelim exam are legible to appear for the Civil Services Mains written examination. After clearing the Mains, they will have to undergo a Personal Interview which makes up a final result.
