The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is gearing up to announce the 2017 exam schedule. The board is likely to release the Date Sheet/Time Table for class 10th & 12th on the official website very shortly.
Buzz has it that the detailed date sheet for class 12 Board exams will be tentatively released in the first week of January, 2017.
According to CBSE officials, the class 12 board exams will be conducted in February end or in the first week of March, 2017. All the exams will be held from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm. The results are expected by June 2017.
As per official sources, nearly 14, 99, 122 candidates will be taking the Class 12 exam, which includes 4, 46, 641 girls and 6, 21, 259 boys.
Last year, the class 10 exam were scheduled from March 1 to March 28, 2016. On the other hand, class 12 exam was conducted between March 1 and April 22, 2016.
The candidates can visit the official CBSE website that is cbse.nic.in to view the detailed time table of class 12 once it is released.
Tips to Check CBSE 12th 2017 Time Table:
• Go to the official website cbse.nic.in
• Check the notifications section on the home page
• Navigate to the “CBSE Time Table 2017″ link and press on it
• The Date sheet will be uploaded on the web page in the PDF format once it is out
• Select your desired class and click on it
• Download the time table and take a printout of it
• Keep it safe till the end date of exams.
Meanwhile, there is some change in the class 10 boards which were made optional in 2010. The HRD minister Prakash Javadekar has confirmed the re-introduction of class 10 board exams from 2017-2018. Now, the Class 10 board exams is compulsory for every student.
Given that the CBSE Boards are just around the corner students should start preparing for the exams in earnest!
