The Railway Recruitment Board released the result for its Non-Technical Popular Categories (RRB-NTPC) 2016 under the advertisement no. C.E.N. No. 03/2015. The RRB declared the region wise result (1st stage) for the NTPC recruitment drive on 7th December.
The RRB NTPC recruitment examination is being conducted to fill up 18272 vacancies. The first stage exam was successfully conducted from 28th March to 30th April 2016. Over 93 lakh candidates took the RRB NTPC Exam 2016 across the country.
As per sources, around three lakh candidates have made it to the second stage examination.
Eligible candidates who have cleared in the 1st stage of this recruitment drive are now waiting anxiously for the second stage schedule to be announced.
The latest news is that the schedule of the 2nd stage examination (CBT) for the provisionally selected candidates is now out and can be accessed at the official web portal. The 90 minute exam is going to be held three shifts from 17-19 January 2017.

Admit cards/call letters will be released 2 weeks prior to the exam. Candidates will be intimated about their release by SMS and e-mail.
