Tokyo olympics came to an end.

The Tokyo Olympics 2020 concluded yesterday in Tokyo, Japan, with the beautiful fact that, in the aftermath of the pandemic, this Olympics brought the entire world together.

Every athlete, regardless of which country they represented or the constraints they faced, gave their all. Each player, whether they won or lost, has left an indelible mark on every young person who desires to achieve greatness and honour in their life.

With this, Indian athletes demonstrated incredible zeal and tenacity. Even though India was in the red zone due to a spike in covid, a lack of international matches and insufficient practise, each Indian athlete demonstrated to the world that we are also champions.

Mirabai Chanu won our first silver medal. Then Manika Batra became the first Indian woman to advance to the third round in table tennis. Our boxer lovlina has proven to be a champion. Although the women’s hockey team did not win, they were unquestionably the greatest and deserve all of the accolades. After so many years, the men’s hockey team also brought home a bronze medal.

Bhavnani, India’s first fencer, was fearless and had an unforgettable time at her first Olympics. Then there were our wrestlers Bajrang Punia and Ravi Dahiya, who were outstanding and brought India medals as well.

Then Neeraj Chopra, our golden boy, accomplished exactly what we all asked for. This javelin champion helped India win its first gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. His throw was so far away that no one even came close to hitting his target.

Each Indian player shone brightly, motivating the nation’s youth. Their performance has had such a long-lasting impression.

All of the remaining players returned today in the evening, and were greeted by a large audience eager to see them.

We should express love to every athlete that competed, whether they won or lost because travelling to represent our country and qualifying is a huge accomplishment.

So remember to appreciate them and be proud of them.
