Wednesday i.e. 8th September started the direct flight between Amritsar and Rome. There have been 183 passengers boarding the Amritsar – Rome maiden flight from the Shri Guru Ram Das Jee International Airport, Amritsar.
The flight is expected to bring back 130 passengers upon it’s arrival from Rome after two days.
The Dreamliner of Air India has a total of 256 seats including 238 economic and 18 business seats. On this flight, passengers booked seven business classes and 176 business class seats.
Mr. Gurjit Singh Aujla took this opportunity and congratulated the passengers boarded on the flight for it’s successful commencement from Amritsar to Europe.
Mr. Aujla is the chairman of the advisory committee of Shri Guru Ram Das Jee International Airport, Amritsar.
He further said that it had been a demand of many people living in Italy and it was his duty to raise their demand.
