Navjot Singh Sidhu uses ‘strong’ language against CM Channi in a viral video

The ‘civil war’ within the Punjab Congress party appears to be far from ended. Navjot Singh Sidhu used filthy words towards Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi during Thursday’s protest march against the Lakhimpur Kheri violence, according to a video that has gone viral.

In the video, Sidhu is heard saying, “This man (Channi) will sink the Congress in the 2022 (assembly election).”

The video was reportedly taken near Mohali airport as Sidhu and other leaders were waiting for CM Channi to join them in the protest march for Uttar Pradesh’s Lakhimpur Kheri.

In the video, Pargat Singh, party leader, tells Sidhu that Chief Minister Charajit Singh Channi should be arriving any minute now.
“We’ve been waiting for him for long time,” Sidhu says to Pargat Singh, who then tries to draw Sidhu’s attention towards the individuals who have come forward to join the protest.
Pargat Singh declares, “This event is a success… aaj to balle balle ho gayi.”
“What success…if the son of Bhagwant Singh Sidhu (Navjot Sidhu’s father) had been made the CM…I would have shown them success,” a visibly irritated Sidhu retorts, hurling an expletive at CM Channi.
