More than 800 cases of Dengue reported in Bathinda within 2 weeks

Dengue fever continues to spread rapidly in Bathinda district, with no evidence of a decrease in the number of infected individuals reported in recent weeks.

According to the Department of Health, there have been 1,440 dengue cases reported in the area so far this year. The previous month recorded around 1300 cases of dengue fever.

According to the data, nearly 900 dengue cases have been registered in the last two weeks alone, out of a total of 1,440 this year. Until September 10, there were just 50 dengue cases in the district.

Health officials maintained that they were making every effort to keep the number of cases under control, but that they also needed the locals’ assistance.

However, health experts admitted that there had been a recent spike dengue cases, but that this would most certainly subside by next week as the temperature has already begun to drop.
