Get ready to welcome a new gaggle of gadgets by Microsoft corp. The company’s latest offering has revealed Lumia Smartphones along with a brand new laptop. Microsoft is not going to disappoint you with just this, the devices unveiled have the latest Windows 10 operating system. The company has also new brought back the updated and revamped Microsoft Band, the wearable fitness tracker, and a new Surface Pro tablet, along with the laptop and Lumia Smartphones.

Microsoft claims that it has almost 110 million devices that are being run on Windows 8 OS; though it faces a tough contest from competitors like Samsung Electronics Co Ltd and Apple Inc. Microsoft had come out with its Windows 10 operating system in July, to raise its head to the competition.

The company has decided to introduce its “laptop-tablet” looking, Surface Book, from Oct 26th at a price of $ 1,499 and claims that the laptop is two times as fast as the MacBook Pro by Apple. With 267 pixels per inch, a glass track pad, and a 13.5 inch display, the laptop will be a device to own, because of its fast speed. In New York, three phones were unveiled at an event by Microsoft Corp. The launched Lumia 550 at $139, the Lumia 950 at $549, and Lumia 950XL that will be made available at $649, say reports.

Speculation insists that two of the Smartphones will hit the markets by November and the third Lumia 550 will be on sale in December. The Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL with liquid cooling technology and 32GB of storage also boasts of a 20 megapixel rear camera and 4K video.

The Lumia 950 running on Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, hexacore CPU’s, has a 5.2-inch display and The Lumia 950 XL running on Snapdragon 810 processor with octa-core CPUs, possesses a 5.7-inch display. The 4.7 inch display Lumia 550 is run “on the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 210 processor”, says the company.

The company has also come out with the thinner but larger new Surface Pro 4 tablet that can be purchased from October 26th at a price of $899.

The surface with a 12.3 inch screen has come out almost one and half year after the Surface Pro 3 and is said to have 16GB of RAM and is run on the 6th-generation Intel Core processor. The fast Surface Pro 4 provides a clear image display with its 267 pixel per inch and is said to be faster than MacBook Air, claims the corporate vice president for Surface Computing at Microsoft, Panos Panay.

The new Band made of Corning Gorilla glass 3 has a curved display and is capable of tracking elevation with a barometer sensor.

The company announced that the devices will have the automatic biometric sign-in option “Windows Hello”. Scan your fingerprints, face or iris and get identified by your gadget before you get access to your personal computer, laptop or phone say the bigwigs.
