The Karnataka State Police (KSP) has begun the recruitment process for the year 2016 of Armed Constable, Civil Police Constable (Men & Women), Special Reserve Police Constable (Men) posts in the department.

Online submission of application began on 07/01/2016 and will close on 05/02/2016. Candidates must remember that no other mode of applications will be accepted.

Name of the Post: CPC (Civil Police Constable), APC (Armed Police Constable) & Special Reserve Police Constable
- Armed Police Constable (Men): 1638 posts
- Civil Police Constable (Men & Women): 1952 posts
- Special Reserve Police Constable (Men): 760 posts
Age Limit:
- Aspirants applying for SI should be between 18-25 years. Age relaxation for reserved category will be as per government norms.
Educational Qualification:
- To be eligible for KSP Constable, applicants must be SSLC/10th pass out or possess any other equivalent qualification from CBSE, ICSE or any other recognized state board.
Selection Procedure:
- The selection of candidates will be on the basis of performance in the physical endurance test, written test & and Medical Examination.
Application Fee:
- Aspirants coming under GM, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B category have to pay Rs.250/ as application fee in the form of system generated E-Challan form at State Bank of Mysore (SBM)/ State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH) only.
- Applicant coming under SC, ST, CAT-01 & ST (Tribal) candidates have to pay Rs.100/-
- Last date for the payment of Application is 06th February 2016.
