Launch event welcomes Micromax ‘new logo’, Canvas 6, Canvas 6 Pro

Get ready to welcome a redesigned Micromax logo and the new devices introduced by the company. At a Delhi based event, Micromax surprised the people by the huge array of devices for the audiences. The people welcomed the unveiling of new televisions, tablets, a smart watch and Smartphones, all products totaling to about 19. Out of these, there were about 15 Smartphones unleashed in full glory. Further surprises were the launch of the brand philosophy saying “Nuts:Guts:Glory” and the new flashy logo designed for MicroMax.micromax-canvas-6-pro

Micromax which used to depend a lot on imports in the past has gone overboard and has invested generously in India in about three new manufacturing divisions to improve the domestic production of their gadgets. By 2017, the company plans to carry out manufacturing of devices at these functional units’ that are situated in Madhya Pardesh, Telangana, and Rajasthan.

The company has proudly introduced the Canvas Spark 2+, Canvas Evok, Canvas 6, Canvas 6 Pro, Micromax Bolt Supreme, Bolt Q381, Bolt Supreme 2, Canvas Mega 2, and Canvas Unite 4 at the launch event. Talking about the growth of the company, the co-founder of Micromax Informatics, Rahul Sharma “Today marks a significant milestone and new era for brand Micromax as we take a new guard to propel our brand to the Numero Uno position. We are proud to be the first Indian brand to be in the top 10 brands globally and today we embark on our journey to be amongst the top 5 players in the world.”

He further stated “Being a leader in our space we also strongly believe that it is on us to enable an ecosystem that eventually brings world class devices powered by relevant services at the convenience of consumers. With our aim of achieving 100 million connected devices in the next two years, we want to make Micromax, the largest services company in India, consolidate our leadership position in overseas markets we are present as well as enter new markets. We would also continue to invest in different service categories which interest our consumers to create a strong ecosystem within our brand for the most compelling and seamless experience.”

Canvas 6 and the Canvas 6 Pro; have been introduced by the company at a competitive price of Rs 13,999. The Micromax Canvas 6 has a uni-body design in all metal with a 5.5 inch Full HD display. You can click away your selfies with the 8MP camera and also enjoy other clicks from the 13 MP back camera. The “fingerprint scanner” device that has a 3000mAh battery and other features like Tru Octa-core 2.0GHz chipset with 3GB RAM, an internal storage of 32GB and 64-bit MediaTek MT6795m SoC.

The 5.5 inch Full HD display Canvas 6 Pro prides on the Tru Octa-core 2.0GHz SoC along with 4GB RAM plus 16GB of internal storage and 64-bit MediaTek MT6795m. A 5MP front camera along with a main 13MP back camera makes it a phone to envy.
