JEE Main Result 2016: 2 Days to Go!
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to declare the JEE Main Result 2016. The JEE Main Result 2016 will be announced on 27 April 2016 and can be accessed at the authorized website.
Candidates who have participated in the prestigious entrance exam can check their qualifying status by login on to the main web portal which is jeemain.nic.in after the results are declared. They can also check their score card, cut-off and All India Rank by CBSE.
JEE is a common all India engineering entrance examination which is conducted for admission in various courses and engineering colleges of the nation. Eligible and interested candidates keen to get enrolled into the much sought after undergrad engineering programs in NITs, IIIT’s and other centrally funded technical institutes participate in the prestigious exam.
The CBSE successfully conducted both online as well as the pen and paper test for JEE Mains. The Paper-based test was held on April 3rd, 2016 and the computer-based online exam on 9 & 10 April 2016. This year nearly 12 lac students took this exam in 129 cities.
Tips to Check JEE Main Results 2016:
1. Visit the official website JEE Mains
2. Click on the link ‘JEE Main 2016 Results’
3. Enter the application number and date of birth
4. Hit the submit button
5. The results will be displayed on the screen
6. Check the result.
7. Take a print out of it.
8. Keep it safe it for further reference.
Aspirants who qualify in JEE main exam 2016 (Online or Offline mode) and meet the cut-off will be able to appear for JEE Advanced exam on May 23 2016, which is the gateway into the 16 prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the Indian School of Mines (ISM), Dhanbad. Candidates are allowed a total of 3 attempts to qualify for JEE Mains.
