Dead body of a man with severed wrist discovered at Singhu border!
On Friday morning, a corpse of a half-nude person with his left wrist cut was discovered hanging from a police roadblock near the main stage of the Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) at Singhu border.
The person who died was Lakhbeer Singh, aged 35, from Cheema Khurd village in Tarn Taran, Punjab.
The victim was allegedly beaten up by Nihang Sikhs for allegedly violating a holy book. His left wrist was severed by the attackers.
According to witnesses, the thugs carried the victim towards the main stage, bound him with ropes, and then hung him from the police barricade.
A couple of videos of the incident have gone viral on social media.
Some others were seen on film at the scene, and the man was observed lying in a pool of blood on the ground, his eyes wide with astonishment and misery. They were overheard inquiring about his name and other personal information.
A number of farmers protested at the location. Inspector Ravi Kumar, SHO, Kundli, arrived to the scene with a squad.
After three hours, the body was lifted from the barricade and taken to the general hospital’s mortuary.
The Kundli police have opened an investigation into an unidentified group of people.
Furthermore, the Samyukt Kisan Morcha has denounced the murder, claiming that neither the Nihang group nor the deceased guy were affiliated with the Morcha.
