Hardik Patel alliances with other OBCs? Second quota of rally planned in Gujrat
Hardik Patel marched into Delhi with “OBC” dreams in his eyes but realized that there were plenty of Delhiites suffering a similar fate. He had planned to unite all the sidelined OBC’s and take the Patidar agitation nation-wide along with the other backward classes list. Patel faced a tough time as he tried to find a common ground for the Kurmis, Hoodas, Gurjars and Jats in Delhi. They wanted an explanation as to how he could help them via his agitation.
Having tried his hand at the national level, the young lad on his return from Delhi announced, “will start the agitation from Surat tomorrow. We will focus more on taluka and village level this time.” Hardik told the media people that he was planning rallies countrywide and in Gujrat.
Mr. Patel’s belief is that these silent agitations will jostle the whole nation into wakefulness. He stated “We will make the official announcement tomorrow about our upcoming programmes and rallies to be held in the state. This time, the entire nation will have its eyes on our programme.”
Hardik cleared his name of the recent aggression seen in the state. “No such incident took place in all the 37 rallies we organized ahead of August 25. I hold police as well as this Gujarat government responsible for inciting violence. Otherwise, we always walked on the path shown by Gandhiji,” he claimed.
Nearly 10 people died during Patel’s Ahmedabad rally on the August 25th. However, this time he aspires to keep it violence free. Hardik has got the support from a few organizations like Kurmi-Kshatriya Mahasabha, Gujjar Vikas Parishad, Rashtriya Gujjar Manch , Anjana-Chaudhari Samaj among others and claims he has backing from across the country. Hardik next strategy is to organize a rally in Uttar Pardesh’s Lucknow.
Patidars along with Kurmis and Gujjars make about 27 crore people and Hardik intends to get a reservation application signed by all the groups and subsequently hand it over to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
