The visa process for Indians will be made easier after the introduction of the visa application centers in many towns on the November 2nd. The comprehensive services for business travelers and Indian tourists will speed up and become easier after this decision of the Government officials, says the embassy official.

Once this decision regarding the visa has been taken, the visa centers will provide internet services, on-site photographing and courier delivery to far flung places in India, as well. All this has been decided by the Finland Government after it noticed that the European countries were a favorite jaunt with the Indian visitors.

The Schengen States are planning a bigger move for the travelers and they are all ready to start the bio-metric parameters necessary for travel purposes . On the November 2nd, the Visa Information System (VIS) will be launched in India and according to the embassy officials, this promises, “to better protect applicants against identity theft and to prevent document fraud and so-called visa shopping”.

The Schengen countries are 26 in number but they permit their citizens free movement in the whole area taking it as a single country. The Indian visitor planning to visit the Schengen countries will now have to get digital photographs clicked and their fingerprints marked, by personally appearing for their visas, at the visa center.

But the people who travel frequently will be saved this exercise as every time they submit their application for the visa, they will not have to repeat their fingerprint check . From the date they submit the visa their personal data will be considered legitimate for 59 months.
