Terrorism concern worldwide! The G20 summit for Prime Minister Modi

Prime Minsiter Modi is all geared for the G20 Summit in Turkey. The UK meets have ended and Narendra Modi flew to Antalya on Saturday to attend the Summit. On reaching Turkey after this UK visit, The PM tweeted “Reached Turkey to participate in @G20Turkey2015. Will meet world leaders & discuss global economic & security issues.”

Meanwhile, Turkey along with the world, raises the head to the disastrous and brutal carnage in Paris and has realized that there is an immediate need to spruce up efforts against terrorist activities rather than keeping a major focus, on the economic pressures in the world.

The security at the venue has been increased and there are armored police vehicles, mounted police men , helicopters and fighter jets patrolling all around, because of the terrorism concern and insecurity expressed by the world leaders. The famous tourist destination with the sprawling golf courses and glorious beaches is a deserted town today with the patrolmen to keep company.

A Group of 20 major countries or economies termed as G20, includes China US, Russia and Japan and besides economic issues the talk topics were to concentrate on the issue of refugees and migration, but now according to official sources the summit will also focus majorly on terrorism. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Barack Obama both are expected to request for a united stand of the countries against brutal terrorism.

A source from the host officials stated “The massive influx of refugees into Turkey and other European countries since World War II was the main subject earlier, but now it will be the Paris attacks which will take over.”

After a successful tryst at U.K and delegation talks with Prime Minister David Cameron, Modi will be meeting the chairperson Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the Summit. The Summit starts on Sunday and the agenda hints that the talks were planned to be on worldwide economic issues, development and climate alterations, sustainable growth, trade, investment and energy.
