Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the E-Admit cards for the Civil Services (CS) Main Examination 2015 on 2nd December. Candidates who had taken the CS (Preliminary) exam in August 2015 and cracked the same can download the crucial document from UPSC’s official website which is //www.upsc.gov.in/
The Civil Services Exam is conducted by the UPSC for recruitment of graduates from all fields to the Civil Services covering 25 different services under the Government of India. There are three stages in this exam. These include the Preliminary Exam, Main Exam followed by a personality test or Interview.
Procedure to Download e-Admit Card 2015:
- Log on to the UPSC’s official website at http://www.upsc.gov.in/
- Click the link, titled “e-Admit Card- Civil Service (Main) Examination, 2015”
- A page with Important Instructions pertaining to the exam and the e-Admit Card will appear on screen
- Click on Yes button.
- Next punch in either name, registration no. or your roll number and enter the details, as instructed
- Submit the details and UPSC Civil Service (Main) Exam 2015 admit card will appear on the screen
- Save your admit card and take a printout of it for the upcoming exam.

UPSC conducted the prelims on August 23 in 71 cities across the country. As per sources, more than 4.6 lakh candidates appeared for both the papers (Paper-1 & Paper-2) which was held in morning and afternoon sessions. The Civil Services Preliminary result was declared on 12 October 2015 evening at the official website-www.upsc.gov.in.
Candidates who qualified in the prelim exam are legible to appear for the Civil Services Mains written examination. After clearing the Mains, they will have to undergo a Personal Interview which makes up a final result. The UPSC main exam is on December 18.
