For the first time Huawei Terminal’s Honor brand has launched two smart phones. The Honor 5X priced at Rs 12,999 and the Honor Holly 2 Plus, starting at Rs 8,499. Let’s highlight salient features of the both devices that will be available via Flipkart and Amazon India:
2 GB Honor 5X which has gone for pre-order at 3pm Thursday, may have better quality and specifications but the Honor Holly 2 Plus seems to render a better feel and it will go on sale from February 15. Both the devices have same cameras but the difference lies in the larger quality of the Honor 5X due to f/2.0 aperture, 28mm wide-angle lens, 5P lens, and Blue Glass IR filter. Both devices runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with the EMUI 3.1 skin on top. The Honor 5X houses a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution IPS display and is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC, whereas Honor Holly 2 Plus features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixel) IPS display, and is powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P SoC coupled with Mali 720 GPU and 2GB of RAM.
Huawei has also assured the users that the Honor devices have got an updated battery life. In terms of battery backup, Honor Holy will win the hearts of users with 4000mAh battery and Honor supports 3000 mAH battery. Both flagships has 16 GB internal storage that’s expandable via microSD card up to 128GB.
Other specifications of the smart phones include 4G LTE, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB, wifi.
