New Delhi recently saw an event organized by Samsung where the Galaxy S7, S7 Galaxy Edge was launched and the pre-booking of the devices was started. It’s time to hurry people, if you manage your bookings before the 17th you may earn yourself the Samsung Gear VR headset, and that too for free!
The Galaxy S7 will be priced at about Rs 48,900 and the S7 edge will be available at about Rs 56,900 and this is for the 32GB gadgets. Bookings are open from the 8th of March till the 17th and if you make it in time you may be able to get your hands on the Samsung Gear VR headset, as a free package with the phone. Samsung’s octa-core Exynos 8890 processor powers both the phones and the two gadgets have 4GB RAM. The two phones have a 5MP front-facing camera and a 12MP dual pixel real camera. They have a “maximum aperture of f/1.7” say the reports. Now you can enjoy a great picture quality.
Galaxy S7 is about 7.9mm thick , weighing about 152 grams, and has a display of about 5.1 inches, on the other hand the Galaxy S7 Edge is slightly slimmer about 7.7 mm, weighing about 157 grams and has a 5.5 inch display . Both the devices are equipped with the “Always-on” display and in this way you can see the time, date and notifications without the bother of working through the device unlocking procedure. There is no removable battery for the Samsung Galaxy S 7 series. Samsung betters itself with the two devices in power and The Galaxy S7 has a 3000mAh battery whereas the Galaxy S7 Edge has a 3600mAh battery.
Reports have also confirmed that “Samsung Galaxy S7 series sports Android 6.0 Marshmallow along with the TouchWiz UI skin atop it. With the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, the Edge user interface now has two columns of apps that let you quickly access more apps by just swiping inwards from the edges.”
