Gauri Shinde’s next promises to be another whopper! She stunned people with “English Vinglish” and made people sit up and notice a “re-introduced” Sridevi. This time she has roped in the super star Shahrukh Khan and Alia Bhatt for “Dear Zindagi”. Get ready for the first look, people, Gauri Shinde weaves her magic once again!
Gauri Shine stormed her talent into Bollywood with 2012’s “English Vinglish” and people sat twiddling their thumbs for her next project. Earlier it was speculated that Gauri was planning a sequel to her “English Vinglish” with Kajol in the main lead this time. Karan Johar’s formal announcement in mid 2015 , revealed information about Gauri’s untitled movie in the offing that would focus on the charismatic ShahRukh Khan and Alia Bhatt in the main lead.
It’s the age difference both the lead actors that has caused a lot of hustle bustle in the people. Romance? Love between SRK, Alia? SRK has been famous for acting opposite young actresses like Deepika Padukone in “Om Shanti Om”. Dips had been just 21 years old when SRK had waltzed her around trees at the age of 42. Gauri’s film highlights the fact that a 49-year-old Shahrukh Khan can leave a 22-year-old Alia Bhatt spellbound with his charm. Well, the two lead actors have revealed that their “Dear Zindagi” is not “a typical love story”. R. Balki, Gauri’s husband has dealt in “huge age gap” movies and had made “Cheeni Kum” with none other than Amitabh Bachchan.
The first look of “Dear Zindagi” has been released on Tuesday and it highlights the fact “Is it ok not to be ok?”. To this, Shahrukh Khan explains to Alia, “It’s okay to not be okay. As long as you take care of one person — and that’s you”.
Alia and SRK come on screen for the first time and the flick promises to show dynamite moments. Alia plays the role of an aspiring filmmaker and her involvement with 4 different kinds of men and the way her life shapes after these experiences.
But sadly, we don’t think SRK will be seen romancing the 22-year-old, it’s going to be 
who she will fall for. Speculations are rife that ShahRukh Khan’s total screen time may just be about half an hour in the whole movie, and he will be helping Alia bloom into a better personality with a holistic approach by enacting the role of her life coach.
