The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to release the official Answer Key of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) 2016 Phase 1 and Phase 2 by today (8th August).
Candidates who have participated in the entrance exam can check the answer key on the official website @ http://aipmt.nic.in/aipmt/Welcome.aspx after they are released.
NEET is being conducted today across the major cities of the country for admissions to medical and dental courses offered at all private institutions across the country in place of AIPMT (All India Pre-Medical Test) 2016. The 1st phase of the exam was held on May 1st, 2016 and the 2nd phase was held on 24 July.
CBSE uploaded the OMR sheets on August 4 and stated that the candidates can submit their objections by August 6 (5 PM). However, another notification was rolled out on August 6, extending the date to challenge OMR answer sheets by one day to August 7 (5 PM).
The notification stated, “The dates for display have been extended by 01 day and accordingly the candidates can check the scanned Images of their OMR Sheet by logging into their account using their user ID (Registration No.) and Password on NEET website.”
All eyes of examinees are turned towards the answer keys. CBSE was scheduled to release the NEET answer keys for both Phase 1 and phase 2 test on August 7. Given that the official solutions are not yet out, it can be deducted that NEET 1 & NEET 2 answer key will be released on August 8. However, there is no official confirmation on time or date.
Once the NEET answer key are available on aipmt.nic.in the candidates will be able to access them using their registration number. Aspirants can tally their responses with the official answer keys to gauge their performance and get an idea about the final outcome.
