The Basic Education council of Uttar Pradesh is all set to release the Admit Card/Hall Ticket for the UP TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) scheduled to be held on 19 December 2016 at various districts across the state.
The Board will upload the crucial document for the upcoming exam on the official website www.upbasiceduboard.gov.in. Candidates who have applied for the UPTET 2016 exam can download their Admit Card / Hall Ticket from 1st December 2016 on-wards.
Simple steps to download UP TET Admit card 2016:
Visit the official website www.upbasiceduboard.gov.in
Click on the link “UPTET Admit Card/Hall Ticket Download” once it is activated
Enter details like your registration number and date of birth
Submit the entered data
Your admit card will be displayed on the computer screen
UPTET is a mandatory qualification for an individual to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in any of the government schools of the state after completing B.Ed. / BTC.
UPTET Exam (Duration 2 hours 30 Minutes) will be held on 19 December 2016 in two sessions. Candidates desiring to teach classes I to V will have to appear for Paper I while those wishing to become teachers of classes VI to VIII will have to appear for Paper II.
The exam paper will have objective type, multiple choice questions. For every correct answer, the candidates will get one mark. Negative marking is not applicable for any wrong answer.
As per sources, over 7.5 lakh candidates have registered for the UPTET exam 2016-17. This includes 5, 08, 044 applications for Paper-2 and 2, 54, 016 for Paper-1.
