Suspicious ‘Drone’ activity near Rajoke border, BSF responds!

In the early hours of Saturday, the Border Security Force fired at a drone after hearing a buzzing sound near the Rajoke border outpost.

The area was blocked off in the morning, and a search operation was begun in the region, which lasted for hours but yielded no results.

Drone movement has become a significant concern for security services.

Drones have been used by some elements in Pakistan, including the ISI, to smuggle weaponry and ammunition as well as contraband.

Following the recent recovery of hand grenades and two tiffin explosives, the BSF and Punjab police were already on high alert.

A spokesperson for BSF responded to this and said that it’s rather difficult to see drones at night. And so the soldiers fired at the direction from where the buzzing sound came from.
