Carnage broke lose in Wurzburg, southern Germany when a teenager boy attacked the train passengers with an axe and a knife. The shocking incident took place around 9:00 PM Monday, Where a young boy of Afghan descent got up on the train and started brutally attacking the passengers.
The assaulter got out of the train and started running, police after chasing him for few miles shot him dead.
In an interview with public broadcaster ARD, Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann said that the attacker was just 17-year-old, and arrived in 
Germany as an unaccompanied minor.
“Also, during the search of his room, a hand-painted IS flag was found,” he told in the interview.
The interview sort of cleared the air on the matter of this being an ISIS attack, while still not being confirmed yet. Police have started their investigation on the case and are gathering more information about the Afghani teenager.
Herrmann also has commented on the fact that it is very early to make any conclusions and ties to ISIS should not be made for the moment. While talking about the victims he explained that a Chinese family of two got seriously injured and is said to be on the critical list.
In addition to that, a ministry spokesman said, “quite probable that this was an Islamist attack”. He also added that the assailant screamed “Allahu akbar” before the attack.
Hong Kong’s chief executive, CY Leung has also confirmed that at least 4 people on the train were from Hongkong. There were on approx not less than 30 people on the train when the slaughter took place, with at least 15 injured.
While also being just another speculation, recent nice attacks are also blamed on the ISIS group. But this time, rumors got clearer when police found the ISIS flag while searching the teenagers room. It looks like this story will churn out more interesting details in the weeks to come.
